What would you do differently in terms of content or design? Have you taken the time to be a consumer of content first before being a publisher? There is no real down side to being a content consumer first. Adding a link to your own content is a great idea when you comment on blog posts. Been known to show mercy though.

Even if I feel I’m in the right, using social media to publicly call someone out reflects poorly on me (plus, there’s that whole online-content-living-forever thing), so why would I do that? It is disruptive because it makes it more difficult to see the content I really want to see and comes across as being all about you, without regard for those on the other end of your check-ins. When someone posts too much content which doesn’t interest me, they are likely not a good connection for me. Still, it is your choice.
