As more features emerge on Microsoft’s text and spreadsheet management tools, many companies want to compete with it by releasing free software available to everyone. Libre Office is open-sourced by its huge community that works on bringing useful updates and assets daily. Completely free and open-sourced.

Of course, that’s not surprising, since Facebook announced that they are changing the company name to Meta. On October 28, 2021 Facebook filed for a trademark on the word Meta. If you go to the website meta.com you’ll be redirected to this web page on Facebook.com.

Microsoft has set the benchmark for the way office suites should be and all the companies have to meet the standards set by it. Many software companies have launched their suites to compete with the giant, Microsoft Office , including Google. Hence, mailing isn’t the thing where Libre Office would lose. Hence, it lacks there.
