I wouldn’t use the phone for facebooking, tweeting, instagramming, or other social networking — but I’m doing that less and less on my current HTC phone so I’m not worried. Besides, I have an iPad for that. This is not about discipline and not using certain applications. Comments Cheers.

Geolocation applications allow you to share your location with other people and associate that location to restaurants, events, and other real-world venues. I blew up her picture on my phone to see what she looked like, and I noticed her sitting with an iced coffee several feet away doing something on her iPad. I’m Ari.

In fact, I kinda failed which is what prompted me to write down my tips for taking a vacation from social media, both for myself and anyone else that might benefit. So, here we go: 1) Turn off the email sync to your phone – If you’re like me, you get bombarded with emails from different social networks.

What you need to focus on is the content and optimizing the content to get comments and likes which will help you drive amount of people that Facebook will show your page to. Ok yes HTML5 should help this but throw in iPad and various other tablet aps and marketers are starting to look like Technologist which brings me to my next prediction.
