Recently the topic of syndicating content came up in conversation. You see, lots of bloggers have their blog posts syndicated on other sites that aggregate content, and sometimes we write posts specific to a site just to get our names in front of more readers who frequent that particular web site. Really it boils down to three things.

Its okay to supplement your Twitter activity with some syndicated content, but like I said in Part 1 , its important to not overdo it and run the risk of becoming a robot. What do you think?

Yahoo News Syndication: Attribution Links Not SEO-Friendly

Search engines don’t want to show users multiple versions of the same content, so when an article has been syndicated it’s likely that one version will be given prominence – and that may or may not be the original.

Note: The biggest offenders Ive noticed seem to be those who like to consider themselves "social media savvy" and think they need to be everyone at once always.
