Here are four news stories on Digg’s upcoming list with and without thumbnails. Are you submitting a news story? Is it an image? Is it a video?

For your blog, any URL will do, and if you are writing for a blog with multiple authors, FriendFeed parses through the authors and only features blog posts written by you.

These are the users who are familiar with networking on Digg (finding friends with similar interests) and checking not only the front page of Digg but the Upcoming page as well (which is far more important). Just as Google’s purpose isn’t to serve the SEOing webmasters. It has thrown me for a loop the past week.

But you still have to build a reputation as a known submitter. It still seems when you check the upcoming stories it is still the same people. However, if you have ever payed attention to SEO / Spam scraper programs or any other automated content grabbers etc. To truly remove the stats is all but impossible.
