There are several tabs within PostRank, each designed to give you a unique view of the data. Below this data, are the actual tweets about the post and who tweeted them.

Most achieved a Postrank of higher then 6, and 9 out of the 10 articles dealt with social media. For those not familiar, Postrank is a nifty little WordPress plugin that provides some analysis into the social engagement factor of the content you create. Based on the data above, here is what I’ve learned: 1.

That’s not an easy question to answer without having access to each site’s analytics data and knowing their goals and objectives. But it is possible to make some basic comparisons using data from some of the free tools that are available. RSS & email subscriptions. PostRank : A content analyzer and provides great feedback on Tweets, Digg, Stumble and Freindfeed. Once you have gathered all the relevant reports, you should then aggregate the data in one place so you can cross reference, validate and get the complete picture. Blog Comments. Twitter Followers.

Whether it’s impressions, page views, rss subscribers, or affiliate conversions, everyone is different. My own desire to crack the AdAge 150 often has me banging my head on blog topic choices and how to drive my Alexa, Yahoo Backlinks, and PostRank ratings higher. Social Media Friendly Blogging.

Here’s the raw data: -31 Comments (6 times the norm) -30 Tweets (30-40% higher then average) -8.1/10 10 PostRank (50% higher then average) -187 page views (about the norm) So my takeaway is that obviously my reader engagement increased quite a bit.
