Except, he has very little influence over that fan base. Now, you might desire a list like his and it certainly has brand potential, but you could generate more influence with a much smaller number of followers. However, this only highlights the need to find and engage both influencers and brand advocates.

Companies like PostRank (with its analytics product), and Klout (with its online influence measure) and leading this integrated metrics parade. I can do the exact same thing for your paid search campaign, banner ad campaign, and your website home page. Optimizable Metrics instead of Happenstance.

Making the grade I have no doubt that, from a financial point of view, the campaign will reach its goal. But there are so many things that trouble me about this entire campaign. And when I looked at some of the comments on reports of the campaign, that seemed to be a frequently-expressed sentiment, like this one on PopWatch: Hmm.
