So Facebook has smartly pivoted its Events pages to help businesses host online events… and even make money in the process. Trial paid events so far have included trivia, meet-and-greets, fitness courses, and lectures.

Screen sharing now available in Messenger mobile app. It’s why Facebook has just added a “Share Your Screen” option to its Messenger mobile and web apps. Facebook launches mobile-friendly native shops. The interface gets a makeover with this redesign as well, favoring activities from Groups and Events over News Feed content.

Slush used JennyBot, a customer service chatbot, for a 20,000 person event in Helsinki. JennyBot was available on Slush’s website and mobile app. freed up event staff from repetitive tasks. She speaks to users with a warm voice from a smiling avatar, which is in line with Lemonade’s brand.

People will be able to watch them by clicking on avatars at the top of the Twitter timeline. People who can’t reply will see the comment icon greyed out, but they can still view, retweet with comment, and like the tweet. When someone follows a topic, they’ll start to see related tweets, ads, and events in their timeline.
