Two weeks ago, I received a Klout Perk to be part of the Social 46, a gathering of Indiana’s top social media influencers. According to the Indianapolis Super Bowl Host Committee , Klout was used to help identify the participants, and the list was augmented manually with known local bloggers, gadflies, and connectors.

Hawaii is celebrating its 50th year as a state this year, the Weiner mobile started in 1936, making the Weinermobile the older of the two. Oscar Meyer’s stunt is perhaps the oldest and longest running mobile marketing campaign in the country. The Oscar Myer Weinermobile makes an appearance in Hawaii this week.

If you thought that 2010 was a big year for digital marketing, you were right. I suspect that much of this is due to the hoopla earlier in 2010 about privacy concerns. Mobile apps aren’t going away – people love their ease of use. If there is any area that illustrates that importance of integration, its mobile.

Have you ever wondered what mentions and retweets are worth to your business or blog besides a boost in the Klout score? You can favorite a tweet in the mobile Twitter app. While perusing my own top mentions, I noticed I had very few mentions in 2009, some more in 2010, even more in 2011, and lots since then. Just favorite them.
