On a particular forum I am active on (yes, I still use them!), Sadly, this person’s post was pulled by the strict moderators on that forum; the post was purely self-promotional and nothing but. If you’re only on the forum to tell other people to visit your website or to use your product, you won’t go far.

You can use the many applications that Facebook offers, so that others can answer questions on a survey, have discussions on the forums, and/or have notes to bring awareness to a topic. Delicious Social bookmarking is a great way to share interesting links that could aid in the development of an idea, education, and/or marketing efforts.

There already is a growing forum for users to talk amongst themselves and get to know one another. That forum is frequented by the Mixx founders themselves so that they can be abreast of developments and make the user experience a fun and enjoyable one. Can’t hurt to find more social bookmarking sites!

Other cool features include allowing people to subscribe to your blog via email, and being able to add email and social bookmarking links to the bottom of your posts.
