In the end, the buying and selling of Myspace will be a positive business move for News Corp. In June 2006, Myspace became the most popular online social networking site in the United States. Did Facebook's success and the changing landscape of Myspace make it an undesirable business moving forward for News Corp.?

Social media and social networking are both about connecting people. Without people and their personal relationship information, social media sites like Facebook and Twitter would be reduced to…well…MySpace. Recently, I have been having issues with my iPad. Those people. Deleting my post!

Ask Yahoo, MySpace or … , all major networks that ruled heavily at one time and all which fell from grace to other up and comers. While I have not experienced their mobile apps outside of Apple devices, their iPhone and iPad apps are horrendous. The fact is, no one is bullet proof.

While it pre-dates the Internet (and commercial air travel, ATMs, competitive eating, Red Bull and a lot of other stuff we take for granted), its core premise serves as the foundation for social media effectiveness. I also recommend it on the iPad. The larger screen size is great for an information-based app like this one).

After a few days of messing around with it, the iPad reminds me very much of that remote control with a cord. Most of the chatter leading up to the iPad’s release was around how would it perform against standard computing tasks. I use my iPad instead of my iPhone, not instead of my MacBook. Same with email.
