RIM is a technology company that has evolved (quickly) from an entrepreneurial startup into a global business, and those two entities are diametrically opposed. PlayBook 's lack of success (RIM says that only 500,000 tablets are in market) compared with the iPad is indicative of this. This isn't the case, either. Why the switch?

Allan is now in his own startup, I believe as co-founder, this time starting a new, up-and-coming social commerce company called Piick. If any of you have ever downloaded the ABC app for iPad or iPhone , you have downloaded their work. Brad's not just a marketer or typical community guy though. He's not finished though.

It's hard to imagine that the iPhone is only five years old and that three years ago, there was no iPad. By the same token, it's equally hard to imagine that companies like RIM , Kodak and Nokia are struggling to find true relevance with consumers as startups like Instagram , Pinterest and Fab capture the customer's attention.

The jury found that critical features of the Samsung smartphones and tablets design were copied from Apple''s iPhone and iPad. When Samsung was fined close to one billion dollars and forced to pay Apple damages after a patent infringement trial in August of 2012, there were some interesting discussions online about what this all meant.

About 10 months after the official announcement, WhatsApp began offering the possibility to send data from Android phones to iPhones. An iPhone with iOS 15.5 installed.
