It’s a constant struggle for me to find signals in a sea of social media noise. The coronavirus crisis throws a giant obstacle into my social following strategies because of two reasons: First, I don’t want to tune out people who I care about but I also don’t want my newsfeed filled with politics and sensationalism.

June 2010 seems like an eternity ago when I took initiative and created a LinkedIn Group to share strategies and tips in social media marketing. Reviewing my Facebook history from Day One (which you can learn how to download yourself ), I’ll guess I joined the social networking site in the spring of 2005 shortly after I gained an.edu email address in graduate school. Groups can only be seen by group members. Ahh, the memories!
