It’s common though that when someone puts images in their post and they align nicely, things won’t look as pretty when you get the post in a feed reader. This plugin aligns images in your RSS feed so they are exactly where they would be on your site. So, if you want people to sign-up to your feed, make it easy for them.

And I don’t even do this manually; the process is automated thanks to RSS feeds. At the top of all ViperChill posts ( click through if you’re reading this in a feed reader or your inbox) you will see a large button which shows how many tweets this post has and encourages other people to tweet it as well. That’s it.

You can see how many people are subscribing to your RSS feed and from which sources, and if you use the new Google Analytics integration, you can see how many clicks each individual post is getting from feed readers. Around two years ago I had over 350 feeds in there as I was a total information junkie.

If you’re reading this in a feed reader or inbox, thanks for subscribing! Some people are even saying that social bookmarking is a waste of time. You don’t focus on SU or any other social bookmarking site, if you have a valuable content, people will just stumble you and drive traffic to it.
