It’s a little bit different from Waxing UnLyrical, in that it has a sidebar either side of the main content area, and so many configuration options that my head is spinning. I set up Feedburner, Google Analytics and the plugins that I’ve found really useful to start with: Sexy Bookmarks and TinyMCE Advanced among them.

Look at the design of this blog (assuming you're not viewing it on a very small screen or mobile device - more on that in a second) - all this custom design was built using Blogger's own XML format. The transition from custom Wordpress to Blogger is horrible for SEO! Of course, I know how to code, but it's not completely necessary.

Export and Import Your Blog Content. Permalinks – By default WordPress numbers all posts so your links looks like this joshspeters.com/123 which isn’t very descriptive or useful for SEO. WordPress Mobile Pack – Makes your blog mobile friendly without having to configure a lot of options or settings.
