Subscriber Stats I really don’t know if I should continue reporting on Feedburner as the count is just far too erratic. But with Feedburner, who knows. Sorry to hear about the whole feedburner thing, I think we are all kind of feeling that it is just way unreliable. Yup you are right about the feedburner stats.

The solution to this would be having an RSS feed with only your content in it from each of the sources you write for. Description – this is a short description of the content of your custom feed. I tend to just use the first paragraph or a short paragraph as the goal is to get people to go to the main site to read the content.

Instead, people were finding content from other sources including: Twitter. RSS does continue to drive traffic (at least, my Feedburner stats seem to indicate that) but as I look at my own statistics to see where people are arriving on my sites from, the percentage of those coming from RSS/Feedburner seems to be on the decline.

It works really well integrating with Google Adsense , Feedburner for RSS tracking, and a few other Google features (including any Google Gadget, as I mentioned above), but some obvious Google products have not been integrated. The transition from custom Wordpress to Blogger is horrible for SEO! I say this with an asterisk.

My feed jumped from 8,500 to over 11,500 according to Feedburner. At first I assumed it was a bug, but it has stayed this way for over a week so I’ll assume everything is working as it should (Feedburner usually drops, not increases). The key to my content, in my opinion, is that I write in a very personal style.
