If I recommend a site that people don’t get value from, you guys will start to lose trust in the links I share. It’s pretty much a waste of time trying to get a cooking blog to link to your marketing website, and also a waste of time trying to get them to link to your guide on how to make toast, even if you do run a cooking site.

My biggest successes are in personal services which offer an affiliate program and various sites I run in the health niche. Remember that people read your site for you, so they’re more likely to buy a product if it has your name on. I noticed many other sites like Problogger and Copyblogger also use them.
