Just because you’ve heard that other companies are doing it doesn’t mean that social media will magically work for you. When I was having some issues adding the commenting system to my web site, I was able to quickly get a response from the JS-Kit team and their users. Delicious Social bookmarking is a great way to share interesting links that could aid in the development of an idea, education, and/or marketing efforts. Answers Yahoo!

The site does not resolve on smart-phone browsers, and if they sell products online, their e-commerce platform has no social functionality (no review functionality, no commenting functionality, etc). In general, there are no visible calls to action to engage with social channels and little if any interactive assets. Subscribed.

And that differentiates StumbleUpon from the other social “news&# networks. As I pointed out in a recent Problogger post , Digg is not so much of a “social bookmarking&# site, but StumbleUpon certainly is. Digg is social news; Diigo is social bookmarking (which is lumped in with delicious).
