As someone that previously worked at an internet marketing company, I was always amused when a client would become obsessed with their Facebook or Myspace profile (yes, this was a few years back) and ask us to dedicate an unreasonable amount of resources to managing it. I got hooked on the Star Tribune Twolves message board in 2002 and haven’t looked back. Although I don’t post very much at all these days, I still read the threads on Twolvescentral.com (Star Tribune kind of killed the boards) on my iPhone every day. link] Jan_B @jaybaer is on a roll this week!

For example, I’ve managed to build a top 10 personal development blog in 12 months and I was voted the top social media marketer under 21. There’s also the ‘leave your job’ type bloggers writing excellent content such as Cody , Corbett and Christine. They hang out on blogs by people like Marc , Luciano and Tim.
