Instead, I’m going to go back to my favourite type of marketing: affiliate marketing. If you’re sick of all the slimy marketers out there and want to get updates from someone who is actually going to show – for free – how they make money, then make sure you subscribe to the RSS feed.

NoFollow Certain Pages I did say there may be some tactics that people frown upon in this post, and this is the first. The Nofollow attribute was first introduced by search engines to help stop spam on the web from ranking in search results. Similarly, I nofollow links to my about page, my category links and my RSS feed.

I’m working with some people that I know personally in Cape Town which I think is the best way to go about a product of any substance, so expect more information on that over the coming weeks and months. Though I think ranking 4th for ‘Viral marketing’ is quite an achievement, so far). I’ll let you all know.

Look at all of the top sites ranking for phrases like internet marketing, car insurance, seo and you’ll find that they aren’t just basic information sites. What does change is that everytime I publish an article relating to one of these things, I put it under that category and that page instantly has more information.

I sell a product on how to make money through blogging and affiliate marketing which comes with free support. A few years ago I was very active in the internet marketing industry (specifically SEO) and the big blog to follow was SEOmoz. Luckily, I love what I do. They had a team of rockstars which included Jane Copland.

Maybe it is because I am using Blogger?
