He started his a year ago and has been receiving decent payouts from Google Adsense. By the time I carved my decision in stone my application for Google Adsense has been approved. Placement of my Google Adsense has been implemented in strategic locations. The blog revamp that I made costs me many sleepless nights.

When I was running Google AdSense ads, allowing Google to place ads for related products on my home page, sidebar and in banners below blog posts, I was making a whopping $50 a month. Instead, I've found ways to create far more lucrative opportunities for myself and my blog, and they have nothing to do with Google AdSense.

It was a huge step, one that added risks and extra costs to a blog that was not making any money yet, but it was a necessary step. This helped a lot in getting repeating visits and creating a community around the website. The website makes money from Adsense. Build a community around your blog. Conclusion.

If I wanted to accomodate my entire community, that would be another $30 per year. The entire bill to switch was going to cost me $87/year! They do provide a URL you can fall back to when your content doesn't resolve on Blogger.com, but that means I've got to keep my previous custom Wordpress solution running for it to work.

At the end of August 2010, my business partner and I made the decision to document the steps I had taken to turn a blog that was earning $20 per month in AdSense money into a $500-$5000-per-month blog (all from natural traffic). Each job you promote on Fiverr.com will cost you $5 (hence the name).

Google Apps Google disappoint me in a number of ways (like allowing Mahalo to rank with all of their crappy, computer generated pages because it makes them more money via Adsense) but I can’t deny their services make my life much, much easier. This is a community site where the content with the most votes gets pushed to the homepage.
