Social networking sites (SNS). Blogging by teens (ages 12-17) has been cut in half - from 28 percent in 2006 to 14 percent in 2009. Where did they go? 73 percent of teens and 72 percent of Gen Y are now active on at least one SNS. 71 percent of young adults prefer Facebook while 66 percent of younger teens prefer Myspace.
