Especially after buying a domain name and setting up your website! More players in one market means more online real estate to post your content on. Lots of competition means there’s lots to write about. The more competition, the more resources you have to use for new content ideas.

I recommend that you try a little bit of everything (including podcasting, article marketing, posting on forums, etc) and then hone in on the ones that are getting you more of the type of visitor that you want. Are there active forums discussing the topic. As for the second part, I don’t have any figures from readers.

They can be found on the Steve Pavlina forums, forums for specific aspects of personal development (motivation, productivity, health) and they also like to spend time on Facebook Groups. The influencers behind forums are often the owners, but sometimes the moderators or just active users. I know this because that is my market.

It’s called Blog Twin – [link] (it’s amazing how many domain names containing the word blog weren’t available!) I’ve seen something similar in the real estate blogging niche over the course of a few years now. Sadly, there’s no action list involved in creating an unconscious connection.
