You can easily determine if your friends are interested in marketing, photography, books, music, web 2.0 Personally, I’m seeking out people who are interested in marketing and social media. This way if I go to digg/reddit/SU before Friend Feed, I don’t see duplicates. What content are they sharing?

Even though this concept looks similar to social bookmarking sites like Digg and Reddit, it operates differently. The articles that make it to the front page are not determined by the authors who submit them, or dependent on the domain name of the author’s site. Ning communities.

I recommend that you try a little bit of everything (including podcasting, article marketing, posting on forums, etc) and then hone in on the ones that are getting you more of the type of visitor that you want. This should give you a good idea whether you have found a market worth entering. Are there active forums discussing the topic.
