Not unless you have a huge link-buying budget and know how to get paid links that still count. I outsource this process and while you certainly don’t have to produce that much content, I do find that it helps. Less competing sites on the first page = more clicks on you. They are much smarter ways to buy links (in private).

I’m competing against them in one industry and all factors would suggest I should outrank them, but I simply don’t. The first thing that struck me about the results here is how well the 5th site was ranking when it was so young compared to the other competing sites. 1 site ranking Wikihow. What did you get out of the post?

As I have had a lot of success with my own eBook, Cloud Living , I thought it would be helpful to a lot of people if I wrote a guide about the whole process. Remember that people read your site for you, so they’re more likely to buy a product if it has your name on. Yet, when I release my own work, it sells really well.

Traffic - There are millions of webmasters out there and they’re all competing for targeted eyeballs online. After guest posting consistently for over a year, I now have quite a few tactics for helping with this process. Devoted readers talk about you, they share your content, and they buy your products.

Yet, Compete isn’t the only tool showing them to be receiving a lot more traffic than TechCrunch these days. I am in the process of converting my blog to multi author blog. By king I mean the “default site&# on the topic, Its OK to have competion but not a king. 75% more if their numbers are anything to go by.
