Blogosphere Conversation Feed Reader Information

The people we tend to be drawn to in real life are people who pause in conversation to let you have a say, people who ask questions about you, people who have a genuine interest in what you’ve got to say. I have a folder in my feed reader for each of my main topics which contains a number of key blogs and news sites in that niche.

If you stop by and comment on a blog, you may extend that conversation and/or let that blogger know that you appreciate their work. Consider though that the conversation will only be seen by that community which is limited by the number of subscribers and the number of visitors to that blog. Both are great. Where it belongs.

It’s faster and I get more information from searching the web for whoever I’m trying to contact. Usually I just sigh and walk by the stack of phone books wondering when they were going to figure out that it’s not aviable mode of providing information anymore. But, this time I felt a little different.

Pat’s “Getting Started&# page was created in addition to his About page, where as I have replaced my About page with more information about me and the site. I did this to give people a little break from all of the information they were getting, but instead I think people are confused by the delay, and unsubscribe.

I find that when it comes to learning and instruction, I tend to run in two different circles, as evidenced by the "Learning" tab in my feed reader. Personally what Id like to see is more conversations happening between edubloggers and workplace learning professionals on the issue of 21s century workplace literacy.

OK as far as it goes, but so NOT getting to the real opportunities.Blogs are a conversation between the blogger and him/herself (a form of reflection) and between the blogger and his/her readers. Liveblogging forced me to listen more carefully to the presenters and the conversations that took place. informal learning.â??
