Matt emailed me privately to ask that my content was only preaching white hat SEO and that he wouldn’t regret linking to me. Within 24 hours of my blog post about how they were abusing their loyal readers by stuffing dozens of links in their widgets, they removed them from their widget code. Not a chance.

Yoast higlighted that Godaddy we’re using widgets on their website builder and linking back to their own website with anchor-text rich backlinks.
