Bloggers who had earned a decent or better Page Rank saw their status tank to zero once Google realized they were being being paid for certain posts by advertisers. To its credit, Google also penalized its own Japan division who used the pay per post tactic in an attempt to compete against Yahoo.

Thankfully, if you’re reading this article then you may have time to utilise this strategy before it is too late. In it’s simplest form, guest blogging is the exchange of content from one blogger to another, for a site which the author does not own. This, of course, is why so many bloggers care about their feed count.

I’m competing against them in one industry and all factors would suggest I should outrank them, but I simply don’t. The first thing that struck me about the results here is how well the 5th site was ranking when it was so young compared to the other competing sites. 1 site ranking Wikihow. What did you get out of the post?

I’ll be open and say that this isn’t something I use with ViperChill because it’s not something I’ve felt I needed to do and it doesn’t fit with my current strategy. These bloggers have helped each other out a lot. You’ll see why that is later. This isn’t just some coincidence.

Though some blogs do show off their most popular posts for you (mentioned below), it’s very useful to see what other bloggers are writing about that is grabbing their readers attention. Many bloggers are finding similar results, so they proudly display their most popular posts in their footer or blog sidebar. BTW, nice post.
