Social blogmarking sites. Ning communities. Not all Ning communities bring results.

As late as November, 2008, Guy Kawasaki ran a poll and over half still said they would be willing to pay – despite the usual snark attack common by internet communities.

Comments are the life of your blogging community. Just make sure to be vigilant about moderating your comments – linking to good blogs and blog posts doesn’t hurt, but linking to bad sites might. Ask both the author and the site the content was originally published on. How do you moderate spam? Otherwise, ask.

I find it to be especially valuable and hassle-free for updating Twitter, Facebook, and LInkedin simultaneously. I do this only occasionally, however, as my friends/followers on each site don’t have much overlap. Twitter Tweetdeck I use Tweetdeck for serious twitter sessions. I implement bit.ly I’ve tried Foursquare , too.
