Use HootSuite to publish content to multiple social media accounts and/or platforms including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Ping.fm (which pushes to many other platforms) and now they’ve just added WordPress functionality. cross-post your updates to Jaiku and many other sites like Facebook , MySpace , LinkedIn and more via Ping.fm.

Twitterfeed and HootSuite offer the ability to take a RSS feed from any site and update it to your Twitter account automatically when new feed items are found. Keep this in mind when setting post frequency so you don’t bombard your readers with 5 posts or more per hour from the same site. Pros of Automatic RSS Feed Updating.

I have a list specifically tailored to include regular commenters on my site and people who regularly retweet my posts. com blogs), Ping.fm, and FourSquare accounts. Ditto if you use Ping.fm to update your accounts and you send an update to Ping.fm It still has a ways to go, but is growing by the day. Team Collaboration.

Google is still very powerful, people read blogs, watch YouTube, use Twitter and social bookmarking sites to find their content. I strongly recommend using a pinging program like Ping.FM Social media has revolutionised how we search for our content. It is very, very difficult to update every social media outlet that you may have.

After you’ve published your blog, you should post it on your Facebook Business Page , tweet it on Twitter , share it on LinkedIn , bookmark it on social bookmarking sites, and post it on document sharing sites. To save time, there are sites you can use to post to multiple sites at once.

Plurk is a good site for nonsensical ramblings primarily because it’s harder to keep tabs on people and users admittedly flock to Plurk because there’s “less thinking&# involved.
