Facebook Reader a welcome feature

Google will soon shelve Reader and this has created a lot of panicky online noise from ardent fans. Earlier this month, rumours about Facebook’s possible Google Reader replacement erupted when mentions of RSS feeds appeared in Facebook’s code. My pages feed is largely populated by updates from media outlets, clients and other brands.
