In the past few weeks, however, even Digg’s other top users are seeing that Digg is becoming more difficult of a social news site to enjoy, and after stepping away from Digg for awhile, I have some thoughts and reflections on how it was and possibly how it should be. You can search for related groups and Fan Pages through Facebook, start accounts on social bookmarking sites such as Digg or StumbleUpon, and check on who is linking to your site to find out who’s interested.

Google Docs If you want to share and collaborate in the creation of documents, spreadsheets, and presentations, then Google Docs is the best way to go. Delicious Social bookmarking is a great way to share interesting links that could aid in the development of an idea, education, and/or marketing efforts.

The story announcing Heath Ledger’s death was made popular with 13 minutes of submission to the social news site. Seven minutes after that, it had 2661 Diggs.

As an example, let’s take a look at Robert Scoble’s FriendFeed (click the image for a larger view): In this screenshot, Robert utilized both Google Reader and Twitter, and the comments spread to his feed where an ongoing discussion ensued. This way if I go to digg/reddit/SU before Friend Feed, I don’t see duplicates.
