A Twitter list is a curated group of users on Twitter. Basically it’s a way to group interesting people on specific subjects or other groups (clients, friends, competitors, movie stars) to more easily follow whatever topic brought them all together. When I go to a conference I use the hashtags relevant to that discussion.

I just got back from a trip to Atlanta where I did some training on social media with a group of fortune 50 corporate travel partners for a major banking institution. The entertainment on the first night was a dinner at Art Smith’s Atlanta destination restaurant Southern Art and Bourbon Bar. It’s not just restaurants either.

Instead, after almost every session the participants broke out into small groups to discuss the topic of the panel and how we could apply it to our own businesses. What did we learn?
