The easiest way to find these people is to find the communities that your users frequently visit, be it forums, Twitter, or other social networks. get Twitter mentions of your brand via RSS or email) or use a service like Backtype (backtype.com) to see comments across blogs and other social media sites (such as FriendFeed).

Don’t shy away from giving your community the information needed to find you elsewhere both online and offline. Let it be posted on every social platform of choice and then watch as it seeds through other communities (which is likely to happen and shows that your marketing is viral). What if you want to offer 10% off?

As many of you know, I have an annual tradition of giving back to the community on my birthday, which is why this year is no different. 2010 by far was the biggest year yet in the Internet Marketing realm. , also gathering intelligence via their rankings on top social sites and by stumbling upon new items in my feed reader.

To quote The Happiness Project author Gretchen Rubin, act the way you want to feel. However, I *do* earn money from advertisements and *am* offended when people ask for free ‘articles’ about a project or product that is clearly designed primarily to earn them money. My focus with this blog has always been community.
