Tweet Content is a valuable resource on the web when it’s written well, and contains useful, actionable information. The same reason 40+ other bloggers are doing the same on websites like Social Media Today and in this case Social Media Informer. Social Media Informer gets great content, and I get additional distribution.

put, Triberr is a way for you to retweet other bloggers posts that you know and trust, and have them potentially do the same for you as well. At first it may come off as spammy, and that was my first reaction. Triberr is by invite only, but once you can get your hands on one, you have full access to the system.

Backlinks – I haven’t had a lot of luck getting folks to link back to my content. On the other hand, I’d like to think the content I write inherently drives other folks to want to link to it. Email Newsletter – Every blogger and their sister will tell you that you need to have an email newsletter.

In addition to simply listing conference details, you can get information on speakers, sessions & content. I’d love to see a more user friendly badge feature to give bloggers an easy way to implement dynamic content to their sites regarding their conference participation. Also Facebook integration would be a plus.

Content Syndication – I’ve got my content currently being syndicated on sites such as Social Media Today & Business2Community. What I didn’t realize is that the automated process which both use to grab your content do not properly format the author footer in a way that attributes your site that the search engines “like”.

These add ons turn what essentially is a blogging platform, into just about any type of site you want from community to content management systems to storefronts. I've just started blogging on WordPress.com to compare with Blogger. I'm just getting started on the site after using Blogger for another (more personal) blog.
