I took a look at 14 lists that have come out over the last year for the top bloggers, social media marketers, search marketers, and entrepreneurs. This list includes female bloggers that cover a huge variety of topics in the blogosphere. Many are pretty active bloggers, although some I include in hopes that they will get going again!

What does it really take to build a hustling and bustling blog with a thriving and active community around it? However, what I see many bloggers do, newbie bloggers in particular, is not really knowing how to use the resources Kristi and so many other bloggers provide to maximize their link building efforts.

If you’re just doing it for fun or personal reasons, then maybe consider WordPress.com , Tumblr , or Blogger in that order. Comments are the life of your blogging community. Anytime someone asks to be a guest blogger, I send them those guidelines. Isn’t Feedburner my mailing list? How do you moderate spam?

Promote other bloggers, be an active participant in digital communities, and network tirelessly. While the internet may have bulldozed the yellow pages and other offline directories, you should never understimate the power of word-of-mouth marketing and other old-fashioned tactics for blog marketing. Top Blogs Directory – The marketing & social media section in the directory of top Indian blogs. Apu, you know the problem with Labnol’s directory is that currently it is being maintained by one individual so to say. I guess, it's an entrepreneur/ blogger fav topic to blog when starts a startup.
