As if breaking open a social media Watergate, The Next Web reports "a small storm rocked the ever tense relationship between tech blogs and the PR industry today, when TechCrunch revealed that one firm was charging a specific amount to clients it successfully got covered there." But what stuns me.

Harmless Twitter Prank or Malicious Act?

I reported this account by sending a Direct Message to @spam on Twitter. The service doesn’t seem to have any overt mechanism for reporting Terms of Service violations, though apparently, if enough people block a certain account, Twitter may decide to suspend the account.

Is Facebook’s Social Graph Beacon 2.0?

The most far reaching announcement is the introduction of what is called the Social Graph API, a convention that allows developers (anyone with a Web site or a blog) to easily embed “Like” buttons and other functions on their sites, allowing users to “bring” their Faceboook identities wherever they go on the Web, outside of Facebook’s walled garden.
