Just because I manage to get 500 visitors a day from an article I submitted to article directories doesn’t mean you can get that much traffic doing the same thing. Both search engines and visitors like to see fresh, quality content. Submit your blog to social bookmarking sites like Digg and StumbleUpon.

In February of 2011, Google released the Panda update that took rankings away from websites with low-quality content and sites with more advertising than content. paid links (with the exception of those from directories). Submit your blog to blog directories. Complete your social network and forum profiles.
