Less competing sites on the first page = more clicks on you. Going to start a blog similar to yours once I get my feet wet in affiliate marketing…a lot has changed since I stopped the simple things I was doing to run my web design business. While blogging on wordpress.com and blogger.com is okay to start with, eventually you should be using your own hosting and your own domain. And unless you plan on targeting a specific geographical area, you should try to get the.com domain if you can. domain even though I was targeting an international audience.

As I don’t just make money through blogging, I wanted to make an expanded guide which offered tips on affiliate marketing. Although I believe ours is a more comprehensive and professionally published product it’s difficult to compete with free stuff. Any suggestions? Proofreading should be done tomorrow.
