On their computers, I see Gmail, Facebook, Tweetdeck, Skype, Flickr and a host of other apps and widgets. Earlier in the year I got up and spoke in front of a group of 40+ people about my blogging and job search, the the room was set up with wi-fi and there were plenty of laptops there then too. Perhaps there are certain lawyers or industry groups that would be great bloggers, and that are good educators, and great at replying to all comments on blogs, thus building relationships. I used Tweetdeck. I like to think my readers got to know a new group of bloggers, and I got to enjoy time with my newborn son without worrying (too much) about my other baby, my blog. Facebook, at that time, did not have post-scheduling capabilities.). In theory, this all sounds great, but how’d it go?

Sure, you can centralize some of your social media chores (great post by Chris Brogan), by using Tweetdeck or Seesmic. And More… Although I’m not using it presently, you can also configure your NutshellMail to include Linkedin and MySpace content, as well as updates from the Ning groups of which you are a member.
