The links from the profile page may have nofollow tags, but they will drive traffic and different search engines treat the nofollow tag differently. People use various social media sites in different ways. Be there, and tell them you’re there. There could be an SEO boost in it for you. Expand your social network.

SEO benefits: Many social media bookmarking sites use NOFOLLOW tags that limit the outbound link value of posts made on their sites, but there are still many leading sites that allow DOFOLLOW tags — including Friendfeed, Digg, and Mixx. I'm guessing for most of you the answer is both.

It’s common though that when someone puts images in their post and they align nicely, things won’t look as pretty when you get the post in a feed reader. This plugin aligns images in your RSS feed so they are exactly where they would be on your site. By default, the Wordpress title tag is backwards.

You can see how many people are subscribing to your RSS feed and from which sources, and if you use the new Google Analytics integration, you can see how many clicks each individual post is getting from feed readers. Around two years ago I had over 350 feeds in there as I was a total information junkie.
