Recognize guest posters or image sources. Try allowing guest posters to include a very brief bio with links at the bottom of their guest posts and look for Creative Commons images that are free to use with attribution. Feature related links at the bottom of each post or intersperse links to older posts within the text when relevant.

Doesn’t the product have more credibility if the people behind it are believers in the product’s features? Higher quality product – you can identify bugs and feature improvements before they become problems for other users. Shouldn’t they be the ones drinking the Kool-Aid? because you’re a part of it.

Just like Posterous, you can use Amplify as your primary blogging platform, as well as auto-post to your own blog. But for folks who dont have their own blogs, I can see that being an asset, just as Posterous sites are to many. There are several other options, such as Flickr, Tumblr, WordPress, Blogger, etc… even Ping.fm.
