Of course this only really works if you use Feedburner (which many bloggers do), but my blog subscribers skyrocketed once I started using FriendFeed. Simple, unobtrusive, and motivates me to want to write more compelling content to improve my numbers. FriendFeed – Most people of heard of FriendFeed, but not as many use it.

Export and Import Your Blog Content. I prefer Disqus , but Intense Debate and Facebook Comments are other popular options. Export and Import Your Blog Content. After you have all of your content exported and or moved sign in to your new blog and go to Tools -> Import to import your blog posts. Prep Work.

There are some elements of Disqus I don’t like, especially that it doesn’t always play nice with other plug-ins, but it does make commenting easier and faster for most of you who already have a Disqus account.
