Sure, moving the family from everything we knew to practically the farthest point away we could go in the US was a tough pill to swallow, but I was getting the opportunity to not only work for one of the best companies in the world, but continue to work with digital marketing and be a part of the startup that has now become Microsoft Advertising.

Obviously a good thing, and part of that success is certainly the group’s ability to be in the conversations. So many companies have good intentions and launch, but never back it up with real people and responses. It’s been a great run, and I’m wrapping up my time with the group.

Fancy way of saying I manage the group of individuals that are professionally certified on the Office platform, and are the community leaders who provide insight, guidance, training, etc. I’m their point person for the company. New Job Started a new gig back in March. I’m a Senior MVP Lead for Microsoft Office. That’s it for now.

Companies like Starbucks , Dell , even my previous employer Microsoft Advertising , all do community incredibly well and it has paid off for all of them many times over. They offer the standard fare including profiles, groups, message boards, multimedia, etc. Take a look at My Starbucks Idea and Dell Ideastorm.
