→ Is the eBook, the end of the library? I haven’t checked to find library borrowing and attendance rates in the UK, but it’s hard to see how borrowing physical copies of books will continue in the next few years, and the younger readers are increasingly being exposed to touch screen devices at the ages of 3 or 4 in some cases.
