You will find blogs with tips here and there on Wordpress SEO , and I go and write what I think is the only guide you’ll ever need. I went from having over 150 blogs in my feed reader in the last few years to just 12, purely because I was seeing the same content over, and over (and over) again.

June was the first time in the history of this site where the blog gained over 1,000 subscribers in a month. Did WordPress look ugly back then or what? I removed the images recently and found that doing so not only speeded up the site but also improved it aesthetically, in my opinion. and his overall bounce rate was much lower.

Steve Pavlina makes over $100,000 per month with his; Darren Rowse had an estimated $300,000+ month when he launched his last eBook and my friend Al’s site, Coolest Gadgets , was having $60,000 months way back in 2007. In a sea of over 100 million blogs, these guys are the exception.

I tried to pick some of the biggest sites in each niche as it’s pointless using unsuccessful blogs as your guide. For two of the niches I didn’t know the top sites personally, so I relied on Technorati and The New York Times for recommendations. I picked 3 posts from 5 blogs in 8 different niches (confused yet?)

Every day I receive targeted visitors from the site who tend to stick around for quite a while. Finally, comments also help you drive more search engine traffic to your site thanks to the long-tail traffic that the words in them generate. Anything that shows community on your site is also a good thing in my eyes.
