In this study which both shocked and surprised me, I reveal this anomaly and many more. As shown here, and known by anyone who’s been studying SEO for more than a few weeks, that simply isn’t the case. My strategy is to use automated tools AND guest posts with quality content (and anchor text links).

I’m simply telling the truth, and giving you the real state of the blogosphere for no other reason than it’s about time something like this was said. The point I’m making is simply this: Teaching is a very, very profitable business, especially in the blogosphere. These people can, and do, and they also teach.

Keep It Clean Simple Stupid) but it’s clearly aimed at your design, rather than the messages in your content or your story. In the case of Upgrade Reality, there were a few random ads that weren’t really relevant to the site content and hadn’t made money, so they weren’t worth keeping. That’s it.

A site’s authority may rapidly rise and fall depending on what the blogosphere is discussing at the moment, and how often a site produces content being referenced by other sites. The audience of politics and web news blogs are far more likely to link to content they enjoy, rather than the readers of gossip blogs.
