As someone who does public relations for companies, I’m sure you carefully pick your bloggers for the pitch. Bloggers have to weed out the crap and PR pros need to find the right people for the job. The job of someone who does blogger outreach can be difficult. We both have difficult jobs. That’s just fine.

There are two ways to be included: Use a press release service like PRWeb which guarantees Google News inclusion for $80 Create a site that is accepted into Google News (submit here ) I will be the first to say that for my personal projects, this is the option that I use the least. There are bloggers who have made a lot of money in less time than that and people who have taken a lot longer, but if you’re willing to work hard, I think a year is a great time-frame in which you can build a successful and profitable blog.
