It’s only when you crawl some big time resources heavy directories like BlogCatalog , BlogDash , etc. Why not use, social media platforms like Twitter and Facebook to compliment the blogger.

Badges – If you have badges that mention article directories or web directories, these provide no benefit and just serve as a distraction. Facebook like boxes – I’m personally not a fan of these, but if you have a large following they can provide a significant level of social proof.
