I still think it is an interesting metric though so I’m happy to monitor it here. I also ran a small experiment that meant I paid people with over 500 Facebook friends $10 to post a link to my RSS feed. Other plugins which are activated one day may be deactivated the next day for the simple reason that a different plugin may provide a different feature. PostRank also runs invisibly and shows me metrics about the popularity of blog posts to help me know what you like to read and what you hate. 6 Inactive Plugins Used Occasionally.

Although I don’t have any goals for the size of the community here, I still think it is an interesting metric to monitor. 6 Month Stats I thought it would be interesting to look at a few metrics and see how they have changed over the course of the last six months. it looks like you have started with 3000 RSS subs in Month1.

Third: I continually activate and deactivate plugins in an attempt to run less plugins and duplicate their efforts through custom functions or.htaccess scripts. Active Plugins Used Everyday. RSS Footer does what the name implies. Whether you have a WP.com or WP.org blog, you can activate it. popularity!
